![]() Okay, so let’s get to spilling beans again. But somehow, Tor came off more irritating than Lahn, from Golden Dynasty. So, for normal humans, it must be better than the Golden Dynasty because Tor commits less offences to Cora, the protagonist. I’m going to be calling our universe Cora, the protagonist, as N-Cora, after Normalness, because I find the other Cora fucking abnormal and unbelievable. I mean, I liked Golden Dynasty better than this? What is wrong with me? ![]() I’m not even sure what I’m thinking about this. The problem is, the more time she spends with the gorgeous warrior Tor, the faster she falls in love with him. And no matter what our Cora says or does to try to convince him, he won’t be convinced.īut Cora needs Tor to keep her safe and guide her through this fantastical world as she hopes one day to wake up in her not-so-great apartment in her not-so-great life in her world. Unfortunately, hot guy, fantasyland Noctorno doesn’t like the Cora of his world all that much (to say the least) and he thinks our Cora is her. Luckily, hot guy, fantasyland Noctorno is there to save her from the clutches of the grotesque vickrants sent by Minerva to capture her. The problem is, she thinks she’s in a dream but she’s actually taken the place of the parallel universe Cora and without realizing it, our Cora does something that starts a centuries old curse that will sweep the land if she gets captured by the evil Minerva.Īt this point, her dream world becomes a nightmare. It richly deserves its 'fantastic' app name.Cora Goode has woken up in a fairytale world where she can understand what birds are saying to her, men ride horses and have fluffy feathers in their hats and furniture zigs, zags and whirls in miracles of construction. Everything about it is fast, right down to there being no need to set up syncing with Google, iCloud, Facebook, Exchange and many other services, as the app picks up settings already on the device. These are relatively small quibbles though, as Fantastical ticks all other relevant boxes. There's no way of viewing things in Landscape mode either, with users restricted to the great list-based view. It's not impossible, given its lack of reminders as we've seen in the Mac app. Excluding typos, it's tough to fool Fantastical, it's that accurate.Ĭombined with the easy-to-browse-and-swipe-around interface, it's equally tough to fault Fantastical. It even understands things like every day, fortnightly, and forever. Want to add the location? It'll do that too, just as easily. Meeting Joe for lunch tomorrow at 1pm? Type that in and the app understands perfectly. Usually, this is where things get slow and cumbersome with users having to slide through times and dates to find the right one. Adding an event is a matter of tapping the plus button, like with many other calendar apps. That honor goes to the 'natural language event creation' side of things. This isn't the greatest feature that Fantastical offers, however. Long colored bar underneath Tuesday? Yup, it's going to be a busy day. Color coding improves matters by allowing users to look at the dates to see exactly how busy they look. List focused viewing is crucial for Fantastical and makes a huge difference to how users interact with it. On the top part of the screen, the dates are listed while underneath comes the list of events that have been added to the calendar. It allows users to see at a glance exactly what their week holds for them. This is mostly thanks to two important features that haven't been implemented quite so effectively before. ![]() It's an immediate hit for anyone keen to organize their life easily. ![]() Predictably and fortunately, it does a wonderful job of being both fast and simple to use. Widely considered to be the best calendar app for the Mac, Fantastical has made its way to the iPhone, at last. Price: $3.99 (currently on sale at $1.99)
